Extending the Unreal Agility Arena

To get started, let’s continue exploring the short novel we introduced in Chapter 4, Setting Up a Navigation Mesh:

As Dr. Markus and his trusty assistant Professor Viktoria continued to refine their AI dummy puppets, they stumbled upon an intriguing challenge: the limited power supply of the puppets’ batteries. It seemed that the advanced AI technology consumed energy at an alarming rate, causing the puppets to shut down unexpectedly.

Undeterred by this setback, Dr. Markus saw an opportunity to turn this limitation into a unique aspect of the puppets’ behavior. He theorized that the puppets’ interactions, when powered by dwindling battery life, would mimic human fatigue and exhaustion. With great excitement, Dr. Markus and Professor Viktoria devised a plan to create a new series of experiments centered around the puppets’ limited power supply.
