Importing data from Excel and CSV files

One of the most common activities is to intake data from Excel or CSV files into Domo. This enables you to get data from a wide variety of sources. We'll see how to do that in the following sub-sections.

Loading your Excel data into the Domo cloud

We'll start with loading data from Excel files:

1. Download this example Excel worksheet of sample Shopify Order data: https://github.com/PacktPublishing/Data-Democratization-with-Domo/blob/main/Shopify%20Orders.xlsx.
2. Log in to your Domo instance: Yourdomain.domo.com
3. Click the Data option on the main menu.
4. Click on the Cloud App sub-menu item, which takes you to the Data Connectors page.
5. Enter excel in the Search Connectors box.
6. Click on Connect in the Microsoft Excel cloud app connector tile.

7. Then click on GET THE DATA button.
