Summary
In this chapter, we walked through how to decide which tool to use for uploading data—the process of getting data into Domo. Detailed walkthroughs of the various methods were provided. We learned how to upload data from Excel, Google Sheets, cloud applications, databases, on-premises data via Workbench, federated data at rest from existing data lakes, and even Webforms. Clearly, the Domo platform can use your data assets no matter where they are. We also briefly touched on how to download data from Domo using ODBC, the CLI, and the Google Sheets add-on.
In the next chapter, we will go in-depth into the data storage mechanisms available in Domo.
