Designing forms with embedded Power BI reports
Another way we can embed Power BI reports in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications is by embedding a Power BI report in a record. This can be very useful to extend the 360-degree view of the customer, incorporate telemetry data to customer assets, or add an advanced report to a project, for example.
It is worth remembering that Power BI reports may have data from Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, but also data from other systems where we may have relevant data for the business. By embedding a report, we will be able to pass the context of the record in which we are located, and thus facilitate the consumption and interpretation of the data.
