Building Power apps for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

To build a new application in a Dataverse environment, we have to consider two things:

  • Technical feasibility: The technical feasibility discussion is the easiest one because as we already mentioned in Chapter 1, when we implement a Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solution, underneath, we have a Dataverse environment with all the capabilities that Power Platform offers us. It is important to remember that a detailed analysis of the requirements is always necessary to correctly understand the technical solution to be implemented.
  • Licenses required to use the application: The analysis of the licenses required to use the application must be done while considering the licensing model in force at the time of the analysis.
