Crossing the chasm
The transition from innovators and early adopters (bootstrap phase) to the early majority and late majority (expand phase) in adopting the new paradigm is highly complex and marks a significant discontinuity in the adoption curve. This point, usually named “the chasm,” represents the most critical juncture in the entire adoption journey, and the way it is managed generally determines whether the new paradigm will be adopted by the whole organization or not.
