Improving the UX/UI
Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications correspond to model-driven apps, which means that the overall design corresponds to the same framework as any other model-driven app, with the exception of workspace or omnichannel engagement hub applications that present a multi-session experience, overriding the sitemap on the left-hand side of the screen.
It is true that for many UX or UI enhancements, we will need to make use of custom code or development, whether for Power Apps component framework (PCF), web resources, or JavaScript components. However, the platform also allows us to substantially improve the UX and UI of applications in several ways.
If we list the most relevant ones, in order from the least to the most complex, we find the following.
