Process integration
For each process in the best practice frameworks, you will have both primary and secondary relationships and interactions with other processes. Since every process has a relationship with every other process, this section will only cover the primary relationships to key processes. Each process will be described in the following sections with the key interactions that release and deployment management has with it.
Incident management
Incident management receives information from release and deployment management about the releases that will be deployed and any known errors that have been identified that may be introduced into the production environment. Incident management will provide release and deployment management with information about incidents that are directly related to a release package. Incident management may provide information about customer/user satisfaction.
