In this chapter, we reached the biggest milestone of the book. We covered the last (but definitely not the least important) part of the DevOps 360° operating model’s third pillar. The chapter started by outlining the obvious people value proposition for the DevOps 360° evolution. We continued by making a case for why you should aim to enable DevOps Π-shaped professionals, along with why you should be able to predict how DevOps-related professions are to evolve in the future and start to plan accordingly. Afterward, we touched on some key elements of consideration for your hiring strategy. We also provided some tips on the value of 360° interviews and using third-party providers.
