Defining the DevOps 360° operating model core pillars
In the previous chapter, we discussed the link between DevOps evolution and the strategic objectives of an incumbent, and we defined the core DevOps enterprise OKRs and visions. We will start this chapter by outlining the skeleton of the DevOps 360° operating model and its core pillars. In this and the upcoming chapters of this book, we will explore the model’s journey toward completeness.
In the following diagram, you can see the skeleton of the DevOps 360° operating model that will unfold throughout this book. It fulfills the 360° qualities of completeness, continuity, interoperability, and reconciliation while enabling adoption at relevance in a multi-speed incumbent bank:
