Quoting your opportunities
As we have discussed throughout this book, you may or may not need the next feature we are going to discuss. When engaging with customers, it is best to give them an estimate of the cost of your service. This is accomplished via a quote. Quoting your sales is essential to some businesses and nonexistent to others. The good thing is it is available in Xero if you need it. Quotes give you the ability to send the expected amount to be billed to a customer, allowing them to be fully informed of the cost and approve the purchase.
Let’s take a deeper look at the quote feature in Xero:
