Technical requirements

In this chapter, you will need to have access to the Microsoft Teams admin center, which you can reach at https://admin.teams.microsoft.com. You will need to be either a Global Administrator or a Teams Service Administrator to have full access to the features and capabilities within the Teams admin center.

For the majority of this chapter, you'll need either an Enterprise E5 license or a Business Voice add-on. You'll also need to license users with Phone System licenses (if they're not included in your current subscription stack) when adding numbers for users. Lastly, depending on your needs and existing subscriptions, you may also need to purchase Communication Credits or a Calling Plan license before a user can make or receive calls. To make these sorts of purchases on behalf of your organization, you'll need to be a Global Administrator.
