Executing the launch strategy

In Chapter 4, Building a Platform Strategy, we looked at go-to-market, revenue and pricing, and onboarding strategies as different components of a comprehensive platform strategy. These three components together form a launch strategy. The following diagram highlights the components of a launch strategy that are part of the overall platform strategy:

In the preceding diagram, we can see all the components of a platform strategy, out of which the components that make up the launch strategy are highlighted within the dotted polygon. We have already discussed these elements in detail as part of the overall platform strategy.

In this chapter, we will go a step further—that is, the execution of a launch strategy. During the strategy phase, we specify certain goals that we should target as part of our launch, whereas during execution, we should decide which specific actions need to be taken...
