Preparing the plan

For my video, I decided to create a fake holiday event set in Japan in 2023. So, the first thing to do is gather royalty-free videos and images related to the subject matter from the internet. Before you continue, make sure to come up with an idea for your video.

For this kind of video, you should try to aim for the length to be anywhere between 20 seconds and 1 minute. The plan is to keep it short, simple, and to the point, as the purpose of these promotional videos is to market the product, event, or service and sometimes even build a community around it.

If you have any clips that you want to import, please do so as we’ve learned, and place them in the preferred order on the timeline. If you do not have any custom clips, you can use the ones offered by Filmora or Filmstock and proceed to add those to the timeline.
