Learning for a specific goal
The previous list of frameworks, stacks, and technologies can help you see the global picture of robotics, and help you pick what you need to learn next.
But, in the end, depending on your goals, your learning path may differ. If you’re a student looking to finish a university project with a mobile robot, or if you need to get up to speed to work for a robotics start-up creating simulation products, the answer is going to be different.
In this section, we will explore a few examples of projects and job offers, and see what learning path is more appropriate for each example. Note that the examples we will see do not make an exhaustive list of paths. Your own path is going to be unique. The real point of this section is to show you that you should first think about what you want to do with ROS 2, and from this, pick what to learn.
