Amazon QuickSight overview

Using the built-in AWS-managed service QuickSight, you are able to leverage a powerful BI platform with no servers to manage. The service is priced so that you pay by usage with the option to pay per session. This flexible capability is perfect for organizations that have unpredictable user activity that may ebb and flow over time. QuickSight has an in-memory feature called SPICE that allows you to cache data for lightning-fast response times. Data is encrypted from end to end to ensure that your information is safe, and the platform supports row- and column-level security on your datasets. Authorization of who can see created visualizations can be done at the user or group level using AWS’s native Identity and Access Management (IAM) service.
