Settings panels

There are various settings panels inside Sampler. These panels serve different purposes, so let us go through them in this section.

C – VIEWER SETTINGS

Both the 3D and 2D views can be customized from the VIEWER SETTINGS panel. The VIEWER SETTINGS panel contains different parameters; let us study them one by one.

Global parameters

Global parameters is the part of the Viewer Settings panel; the global parameters don’t impact your project but change aspects of Sampler. Following are the two global parameters settings:

  • Renderer: This allows you to choose a render engine. The same source materials and surroundings can be used by different render engines to yield somewhat different effects.
  • Default textures: Here, you can decide whether the building blocks seem rough or reflective.

How your textures are tiled on the 3D mesh is determined by the tiling choices...
